I said I dislike Dick Van Dyke & find him annoying, but I don't see that as the same thing as disliking "Mary Poppins" itself.<br />My major issue w/"Mary Poppins Returns" is what I consider a total lack of originality, as if it were more a remake than sequel. My daughter and I absolutely adore them. I even like the similarities between the two. Burt always makes me smile and I think Michaels voice is beautiful. We currently have the soundtrack in our car and love singing along to it. <br />I really appreciate your point of view because I tend to forget that others aren't as easily pleased as I am. Apparently most people don't randomly burst into song like my family and friends do either. <br />Thank you for a very welcome reminder.
